what does onshi mean?

Sierra keeps using this word when talking to Nash. According to my dictionary, it means "one's honored teacher." But I don't see how Sierra could possibly consider Nash to be her superior.

Siera saus "onushi", not "onshi."

"Onushi" is an antiquated form of "you" in Japanese, which is used much like "thou" in English.

I know what onushi is, but the hiragana used in the game is clearly:
o n shi

maybe onshi is an abbreviation for onushi?

Bablefish is one unrealiable piece of software. "Onshi" is simply an abbreviation of "onushi" which is an archaic form of "you."
