A cloaked woman with a lot of bad attitude, Zenoa appears to the Hero from out of nowhere, and, although disgusted with his youth, bestows on him to Stone Tablet of Promise. She refuses to indulge him with any knowledge about herself, but she does offer to share her power as a Starbearer with him.

Zenoa claims to know much of the Stars, and, when questioned, gives a little information about them to the Hero: The stars are lights which shine upon the path of the world, and, although she doesn’t know what causes one to become a Starbearer, she does claim that changing one’s outlook on the world can affect it. She also knows that Stars react to Chronicles, and as such, can see visions from them. Because they react to Chronicles, they are not defined by the True Chronicle and retain memories upon world fusions.

Zenoa is an incurable joker and doesn’t hesitate to tease the Hero when he comes to her with a serious expression. She is also proud of the fact that she is the least-mannered person in the Company when she gives the Hero the Chronicle of Noble Steel for use as a gift when he sets out to visit the Auster Folk.

Zenoa discusses the concept of uniting the power of the stars within each Starbearer into one vessel with Diadora, Diulf, and Ordovic, who all remember the last failed battle against the One King in the original world. The Hero states that he wouldn’t consider something so horrible when preventing the One King’s descent was the most important thing. Zenoa remarks that the Hero is an easy man to agree with.

Zenoa also hints that she might know a little about the One King’s origins, insomuch that the Stars are the lights that shine on the world, and the fact that there are multiple stars means that a world has multiple futures. When there is only one star, it can have only one path.

After the fall of the One King, the Hero gives the True Chronicle to Zenoa, and tells her to take it far away, so that no one will ever know where it is. She remarks that the Hero and his Company do not need such a thing, and resolves to take it with her to the Stars. She then disappears from the world, although there was a rumor of her appearing in the Empire of the North Star. - Matt620
