A former miner from Grayridge, Lubberkin disappeared from the mines ten years previously, and the rest of the miners simply thought it was a simple mining accident. However, Lubberkin actually fell through a Gateway and went to another world, where they cruelly mistreated him for all that time. Eventually, with help from Marica and Hotupa, he got home. He left the mine sobbing over the treatment he was given back in the other world, and ran to nearby Grayridge.

The Hero brings Logan, a familiar face, to Lubberkin, who explains what happened to the Grayridge Lubberkin once knew, and the former miner joins the Company.

Lubberkin is very emotional and has a tendency to bust out crying in almost any situation. He also harbors a great deal of resentment towards the former world he was in, and even decided to return to tell them off, only to find that the town he was stuck in was already obliterated in a world fusion.
