The Third Empress Consort of Danash VIII, Kureyah hails from Salsabil, whose father, Masrur, is the Viceroy of the town. Kureyah is the mother of Shams, and thinks highly of her son’s judge of character, which is why she contacts the Hero’s company to escort her home based solely on her son’s word.

When in Salsabil, Kureyah demands that Salsabil contribute more to the Magedom in the way of money and soldiers, so that the nation can be looked upon more favorably after the defeat of the Order. Her rude demands insult the Hero, who happens to be eavesdropping. Furat acknowledges that her daughter was actually a very kind girl, but became cold in the harsh environment of the royal court.

Kureyah believes that Shairah and Rizwan, the other two Empress Consorts, are conspiring to assassinate her, and have agents like Misrach to attempt such a thing. This is revealed to be the plot of Danash, who keeps the Empresses fighting so that they will work hard to contribute to the Magedom, and so they won’t band together against him.

When the Magedom disappears with the 10th fusion, Kureyah disappears as well. - Matt620
