A brash, crude youth from Citro Village, the Hero is an orphan who was found as a newborn. He was raised by Sisuca, who treated him as her child. He was close to Marica, Liu, and Jale, the other youths in his village, and considered his teacher Dirk to be like an elder brother.

When he was younger, he often played pranks and pulled various stunts. He was unafraid of Sisuca or Elder Rajim’s lectures, and only Jale’s mother Selen could frighten him.

The Hero does not consider the consequences of his actions, and never plans ahead, his mantra stating that one will never know how something turns out, and that is the entire point of trying.

The Hero went with his fellow Citro Defense Corps to deal with a tribe of Laggarts that had grown aggressive. While there, the nearby valley fused with another world and became the Flesaria Forest. Unlike his comrades, he remembered that it used to be a valley. After exploring these new ruins, he found the Chronicle of the Shining Legacy, and gained it’s powers.

Curious as to the nature of the Chronicle, he set out with his friends to Cynas after learning it had an extremely large library. When exposed to the Order in Grayridge, he is immediately opposed to it’s philosophy of predestination. After reaching Cynas and being attacked by the archivists there, determined to get their hands on the Chronicle, the Hero escapes, and soon finds out that the Order is sending troops to Citro Village to bring it under Order control. Angered, the Hero attempts to stop them in Flesaria Forest. Forces from the Magedom serve as reinforcements, and the Hero defeats the Order troops.

The Hero and the Magedom enter into an alliance to combat the Order, but disagreements regarding the treatment of the Blades of Night’s Veil and Danash’s tactics cause the Hero to break ranks and stand against the Order on his own. He gathers the False Chronicles and allies himself with other cultures embattled against the Order, and even manages to convert former Order soldiers archivists into his ranks. The Hero is considered by many to be an inspiring leader, and a general to be on par or greater then Shairah.

The Hero soon learns that the One King is the driving force behind the Order, and sets his sights on preventing the One King from descending to the world. When his comrade Atrie tells him of a plan to unite the power of the stars against the One King, the Hero is deadset against it. After the One King descends to the world, the Hero finds himself trapped in the One King’s world, reliving the happiest moment of his life: the day before he turned fifteen. But he soon realizes everything is the same, and finds himself drawn back to his castle. With the other Starbearers and the False Chronicles by his side, the Hero sets out to destroy the One King once and for all using a plan to make the One King vulnerable by use of the False Chronicles.

Elder Rajim explains that he found the Hero as an infant around the area of the Hero’s Castle, although at the time, the area was a valley. Unlike other members of his company, he cannot travel to other worlds, no matter what Gateway he enters from.

After the war ends, the hero continues as leader of his company, performing jobs all over the world. - Matt620
